This is
an adventure trip for travelers on a limited time &
budget. The breathtaking trans-Himalayan flight from
Kathmandu to Lhasa & the overland route from Lhasa
to Nepal border offers truly spectacular views of the
Himalayas, high mountain passes, ancient monasteries,
fortresses & a people & culture from a bygone

fly in/drive out but is also operated drive in/fly out
at sometimes depending on practical necessity. This

depending on ones interest & budget; Lhasa Hotel(formerly
Holiday Inn), Kyichu Hotel or similar & budget hotel.

KATHMANDU
(1,300m) - LHASA (3,650m)(SAT)
Fly to Gongar airport in Lhasa for & transfer to
hotel. After check in hotel, rest for acclimatization.
During the flight you will see the Following River,
lake & mountain. YARLUNG TSANGPO RIVER, LAKE YAMDROK.
MT KANCHENJUNGA (8586m) and MT. EVEREST(8848m) if weather
permitting. O/N hotel
DAY 02 - 03:
LHASA (3,650m)(SUN-MON)
These two days you will be engrossed with sightseeing
and excursions of THE POTALA PALACA, THE JOKHANG TEMPLE
surrounding BARKHOR market DREPUNG MONASTERY and SERA
MONASTERY.O/N hotel.
DAY
04:
LHASA - KATHMANDU (TUE)
Transfer to airport 02hrs-drive representative will
assist you. Departure of the flight for Kathmandu would
be approx. 10am CHINA STANDARD TIME and arriving Kathmandu
at 09 am NEPAL STANDARD TIME.
Flight Lhasa / Kathmandu
takes 01hr 10 Minutes. During the flight you will see
the following: YARLUNG TSANGPO RIVER, LAKE YAMDROK,
MT. KANCHANJUNGA (8586m), MT. MAKALU (8463m) and MT.
EVEREST (8848m). If weather permitting.
